Snowmobiling
in the Voyageurs National Park, surrounding area lakes and mainland
trails is like nothing else available in the entire state of Minnesota.
Written up by many of the snowmobile magazines as one of the top
snowmobile destinations, the Voyageurs area is often compared to
riding in Wyoming for it's beautiful vistas and expansive
wilderness. With the one of kind "Chain of Lakes Trail", Kettle's
Falls, and countless amber granite cliffs rising hundreds of feet in
the air, it will be a memorable trip to do again and again. The area
has 110 miles of trails across four large lakes, groomed, marked,
and as wide as an interstate with connections to the mainland trails
that take you to Crane Lake, Orr and International Falls. There is a
total of over 400 miles of trails with connections to the Arrowhead
Trail, Taconite Trail, and Voyageur Trail West that will take you to
Bemidji, Grand Rapids, Ely and Brainerd.
One of our guests recently wrote "We have been coming to Voyageur
area snowmobiling for 10 years now. Once you see the wide variety of
Lake Trails and Land trails that are twice as wide as trails else
where in the state it keeps you coming back. When we found
Voyageur's Landing we made a call right away, we now book our trip a
year in advance. Sue and Dave ensure that all of the comforts of
home are there for you. Complete kitchen, 3 1/2 baths and a hot tub
really takes care of our large group. My wife and I have started to
come up more often and stay in the hotel room which still has access
to the hot tub and the rooms have microwave, fridge and satellite
TV! There are a lot of restaurants with in 5 miles of the lodge when
we don't feel like cooking. Winter or Summer, Spring or Fall,
Voyageurs Landing has it all. Seriously we love to stay here for the
hospitality and you won't find better rates for such a fine resort."
